The well-known Bagga Teddy Rasta, the man who reported the Machete problem in Cartago, provides CLARIFICATION of the facts.
// Good day, my name is Errol Brown..am the man in the videos circulating in the news media and on the internet with a machete in my hand..most people seeing the video thinks am some crazy man running wild in the street with a machete...but there is more to the story than that which meets the eyes..infact, i was attacked by that man with a machete..its only the grace of God why he did not hurt me..i was fortunate to wrestle him to the ground and take it away..so people are only seeing the after effects and not knowing how it started..."

" first, am a very peaceful person..most people in Cartago knows this..always working at the store and taking care of my children..to make a long story short, the store that Krissia possess is my idea..my money and my time..i first visited Costa Rica in 2017 from Canada to meet Krissia...i liked the country and decided i would love to live here..but i knew i could not depend on her to support me here..so i came up with the idea to open a store for us both..when i first met her she worked at Mr Rasta in Desamparados...therefore i wanted to open a similar type store..am not saying that she had no input in the business..it was a joint effort.."

" but because the store was registered in her name she treated me as if i was never a part of the business..i remember one day at the store we had a verbal altercation and she told me to leave the store..i told her that am not leaving because the store belong to me also...she then replied "all the documents for the store is in her name..i was so surprised to hear that coming from her mouth..eversince that day i started losing interest in the store..people would ask me if the store belong to me..after a while i started telling people the store belong to my children..i remember a particular time we separated..and she wanted me to pay child support.."

" i kept telling her that i have nothing here in Costa Rica besides the store i invested my ideas, money and time in..she still went ahead and place child support on me..at one point i could not pay the child support and ended up spending seven day in prison for non payment of child support..i tried to explain to the court my situation but my plea fell on def ears..i have a better life in Canada..i do not to be here..but i endured all that she put me through just to be here with our children..the Judicial system in Costa Rica causes a lot of men to suffer in silence..some men run away from their responsability to other countries..some men only pay the money to avoid going to jail..and then ignore the children.."

" as for me i would prefer to stay here and suffer with my children than run away..most women uses the children to spite their fathers thinking that they are hurting the fathers when infact they are hurting the children more..am a grown man ..55 years old and i honestly have no memories of the money my father spent on me growing up..
all my memories i have is of spending time with him..am not saying that money is not important and necesary..but money isn't all..children need to spend time with their fathers too..now to the day of the incident..i left Costa Rica in July of 2025 to Canada...i came back here on January 27th this year..before i left for Canada i use to sell Jamaican patties in the store..am the only one who knows how to make them..so when i was leaving i took my patty warmer from the shop.."

"upon return i sent her a message telling her that i wanted to restart selling the patties..but did not answer..a day or two later i sent her another message telling her that am done playing am just going to bring the heater and start reselling the patties..this time her new boyfriend call me telling me not to bring the heater and that i should not come to the store..i got real upset and ask him.."where were you when i was spending my money to open the store"?..i then told him that i would be there to have a face to face chat with him..he sounded like he wanted to fight me..therefore i walked with a piece of hallowed metal about two feet long..because i had no idea what he was up to..upon arrival i surprised him because he was at the storefront looking out for me but i entered from another direction..the entire time he had  a machete under the glass case just waiting for me..the first i said to him is that i have no issues with him dating Krissia..but the store belong to me..at no point did i show him any aggression..i remember at one point telling him to look me in my eyes while i was talking to him..but the whole time he want to retieve the machete from beneath the glass case..i kept my eyes on him the entire time..next thing i know he is reaching beneath the glass case..i figure he was trying to get to weapon..not knowing what weapon he was coming up with i jumped on him..only to find out it was a machete.."

"we started wrestling for the machete and i got the best of him..i took it away..so people watching the videos have no idea what transpired..i seem like the aggressor when infact it was him..the machete i had belong to him..i could have hurt him with his own machete but i excercised control..am not denying the fact that i got really angry but who wouldn't..i only want the public to know the truth and not paint a bad picture of me..i am a man of peace but even the most peaceful man has to defend himself...so this is my side of the story..once again, the machete in my hand was not mine..i did not bring a machete to the store..infact i took it from him...Peace and Love.//
